Jan 26, 2013 - I think he will live.

Donald is feeling a little better today. But not good yet. Did get him to eat a grilled cheese. First food except toast in 3 days. Need less to say all I am doing is trying to be quiet. All he does is sleep. Hope he comes out of it soon because we are going to be moving next Friday. He did show me how to dump the holding tank today so if I ever have to. Pray I don't. Will try to write more on the blog later.

Jan 18, 2013 - Can you belive the month of Jan is over half over.

I have not been posting because all the wonderful people we have met here keep us on the go. I never imagined us having so much fun playing games. We always said we were not game people. Met and greet is on Thursday and we have refreshments and play silly games. The picture are of last week because we didn't make it this week. The sun was finally shining so we took a walk. Jan 17, 2013 - Our wonderful daughters birthday.

Today is Tammy,s ( our daughter) birthday. I won't say how old she is will just say her oldest child is 20. Boy all that makes me feel old. We are so happy to have a daughter like her. If it was not for her handleing our mail at home we wouldn't be able to do what we do. Happy Birthday and we love you and miss you

Jan 4, 2013 - glad to be back in the valley

Today is our oldest grandson's 25th birthday Hard to believe he is 25. Gary and Doris try to keep us busy. Of course we had to make our trip to Walmart and HEB. It took us 2 days to do our shopping. Went to Academy and exchanged Donald's shoes then to outlet mall. Made a big mistake after that. We went to Chili's and ate then all we wanted to do was go home so we had to go shopping again the next morning. Went to walmart and HEB. Glad to get that done. Jan 1, 2013 - another year

Well here we are in a new year. We left Zapata this morning. Really hate to leave our friends but time to move on. We traveled 125 miles today. Which is plenty for US. We pulled into our campground , Kenwood, and saw that one of our neighbors from last year aren't here. We will miss you, Marty and Kathy. We were parked and hooked up before our other neighbors came out . Was so good to see Gary and Doris again. They have a new addition to there family. I hate to see it because we are getting weak as far as wanting a dog. It is the cutest...

Jan 2, 2012 - Kenwood

Moved 125 miles to Kenwood Snow to Sun Rv Park. Met some more nice neighbors. Doris and Gary on one side and Katy and Marty on the other. Will be here for a month. There is a lot to do in the valley. Camp has music show of some kind every Sunday night. Also have ice cream social before the show. They have a big flea market that is open on Wed and then on the week-end. Went to Mexico shopping. Had dances at different camp on Friday night. Always something to do.

Nov 11, 2006 - DAY ELEVEN - CenTex LoW Trip - To La Feria

This morning Bert left the group to meet some friends at another park. The remaining six of us drove thirty miles to La Feria RV Park in La Feria, where we will spend the next two nights. This is where our vacation officially ends tomorrow. I can't believe that it's almost over. This afternoon I made lemonade from the Texas-sized lemon that the park manager in Brownsville had given me. There was enough juice to make about one and a half gallons of lemonade! Tonight we had a hamburger cookout on Regina's patio. Everything tasted so good!
