Mar 12, 2013 - Back to Austin over winding roads

March 12, 2013 We woke up on the coast. We didn’t get off until about 11:30 or so. We drove along the coast as long as we could, then headed north and west for Austin. I have no idea what route we took. I just know that we went form one Farm and Ranch Road to the next. We missed our turn about 3 times, turned the wrong way at least twice, and spent more time on teeny country roads than we have in awhile. I could see the richness of this land though and why it was so coveted by the early settlers. We finally made it out of the farm country...

Aug 9, 2012 - Dog Sitting for Enterlines

THURSDAY This morning I headed to Kyle to dog sit for John and Karen Enterline while they are in Colorado for a few days attending wedding festivities. Their dog, Brodie, is a very laid-back type dog and doesn't require constant attention, as so many dogs do. Karen had made several meals for me and left them in the freezer. All I have to do is heat them in the microwave oven. That's my kind of cooking! Kyle is about 25 miles from downtown Austin. Jul 19, 2009 - Wedding Day!!!

Stephen and Kati's wedding was absolutely perfect. The setting was beautiful and everything went very well. Everyone enjoyed the reception with the vegan meal, even the doubters!! The bride and groom had taken dancing lessons and did a very nice tango for their first dance. After about 6 months of drought in Austin, there was a threat of rain on the wedding day, we heard some thunder as the bride was being escorted up the isle, but YEA no rain!! Mar 19, 2007 - ExploreUSA RV Center

Left this morning to drive to Kyle, TX to pick up our new 36XTRM5 Carri-Lite 5th Wheel Trailer at ExploreUSA RV Center to bring back to the Ranch for loading. Will bring it back today - round trip. Arrived in early afternoon and waited for it to arrive. Trailer got there late afternoon and was cleaned up and washer/dryer installed and did walk-thru and headed back to Jacksonville just before dark. The sales staff and service dept stayed overtime to get everything in order so we could take it the same day. Many thanks to Shayne Hall...
