The trip to Houston was uneventful, comfortable, and a learning experience with driving a new 40' motorhome towing a new Jeep. ... Urrrrrrr YUK Dallas bus station - painful memories! Another bus ride but only a few hours so we were in Houston by lunchtime. ... What a long journey! We left our hotel at checkout time yesterday, sat at the GIG, Rio's international airport, til 7:00 pm, boarded a plane who's ride lasted 36 min and we landed in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Have been staying in Texas with friends made in the Bible school in Colorado, unfortunately did not get to see everyone but did have a great week with 2 families exploring the area around Houston and got to make even more friends through out church connections. ... Okay, for the last three years, I've known I had to study abroad for my major requirements, but I never imagined the day actually arriving. But here it is!
