Mar 25, 2019 - Landing Gear Trouble

Things were going so well this morning as we prepared to leave Fredericksburg for the trip to Fort Griffin. The only item remaining was to raise the landing gear and that was when Marilyn made the comment that things were so easy this morning. The landing gear failed to move even though we could hear the motor running. I made a quick call to Slade at Rolling Retreats and he guided me through several steps and we had the landing gear retracted. May 6, 2017 - Fort Griffin State Park

It seems that we seldom sleep well on the night before a travel day. I don’t like to begin the day feeling tired but sometimes that is the case until after I have my morning coffee. Marilyn prepares the inside of the RV for travel while I do the outdoor stuff. We shared a pot of freshly brewed coffee just as we normally do and then we started getting busy.
