Apr 12, 2011 - Yes, still in Texas...

We're half way to our first destination of San Diego, CA. Yet, we're still in Texas. It's a big state! Wind wasn't much of a problem but we decided to keep it short anyway. So, we stopped off for a famous steak at Cattlemens Steakhouse, on Indian Cliffs Ranch. Had a great meal, too! My blog at www.laninga.com has more info. The restaurant allows free overnight parking for diners, so we spent the night here. A little cold, but no problems... except for the drive in and out. The parking lot is in the back, with curved roads with stone fences....
