Although there's a touch of spring in the air, this winter has been colder and wetter than usual all over the southern US, so it makes sense to head south again and enjoy the sea coast. The campground on the beach doesn't expect us for a few days, so we drove from thirty miles north of Dallas to thirty miles south of Dallas to an Army Corps of Engineers campground. Jun 3, 2007 - Singing in the rain

We moved out of Treetops on Memorial Day and parked in front of Amanda's house overnight, then moved on May 29th to Lake Bardwell, just to the west of Ennis,TX at the High View CoE park. We've stayed out here many times when we were still working as it was close enough to get to on a Friday night and still have some night left over. We're right on the lake and we sure do like it.
