OMG! San Antonio has so much to do and see. Many ways to see it. Trolley tickets can be purchased for the day and take you everywhere you want to go on their routes. Just need to know what color you need to get on. The alamo was much more interesting than I thought it would be. So much history has been recorded and artifacts shown. We did manage to get on the riverwalk. It is 3 1/2 miles around if you walk all of it. Many ways to access it. We entered across from the alamo by going under the Hyatt. The walkway is beautiful. First TM Winter Trip

Feb 15, 2009 - Brauning Lake RV Resort, Elmendorf, Texas

Arrive at Lake Brauning RV resort to begin our 4th job with GTI site Maps. This park is located about 25 miles south of San Antonio and has received good reviews. We are hopeful that THIS place will have enough businesses be able to sponsor some ad support for the park, although in this economy nothing suprises us anymore.

Dec 17, 2008 - Elmendorf, TX

In our perpetual quest for warmth we are headed to Florida via San Antonio, Texas. Yes, I know, odd route but that is just how it ended up. We spent the last two days trying to stay warm at an RV resort near Bastrop, TX. Other than a few games of pool in the clubhouse and a quick dip in the hot tub we pretty much spent the entire time snuggled up inside Clyde due to the winter cold front that pushed its way through the area. Nov 2, 2008 - San Antonio, Texas

We have arrived in San Antonio, Texas. It was a pleasant three hours from Amistad NWR yesterday. We are staying at the Braunig Lake RV park on the south side of town. It is close to Braunig Lake and they have their own little fishing pond in the park. We chose this park on a recommendation from Gary and JoElla, who have stayed here before. It is a Passport America Park, so the rent is 1/2 price - good deal. We are so happy to see green growing things and green grass. And the humidity is above 10!
