Well, we have finally made it to Texas. We are stopped at Pinchers RV park and restaurant in El Campo, TX. Mike figured that with a town name like that - there had to be a place to camp! Even more funny, I was on the internet trying to find a park and Mike had pulled off the highway and into a parking lot. I found this place on the internet but there were not any directions on the website. I called and the guy who answered asked where we were. I described our location and he owned the lot where we stopped! Kinda odd, eh? Anyway, this RV...

Trek Wanderings

Dec 6, 2011 - On The Road

We had a short visit with Myrna this morning before heading south to Baytown, TX, which is on the east side of Houston. Glen chose this Speedco location to have the annual oil/filter changed on the motorhome and generator. Using the trusty GPS we found the store, waited our turn. Glen was satisfied with the quality of the work. Whether the GPS didn't know the correct highway or we didn't follow directions, we did end up on a toll road which required an EZ Pass...no cash accepted.
