Apr 4, 2019 - April 4, 2019 – Dawson and Corsicana, Texas

April 4, 2019 – Dawson and Corsicana, Texas I was tired after the last 2 days so instead of doing a lot of sightseeing which I had planned, I slept in until 8. I got my email cleaned out, and left about 10:30 to drive around the park. I had the map of the park with me, and I identified sites which would be more level than the one I’m in now. These triplets are now thirteen going on thirty, and it was a real joy to spend a little time with them. Christmas Day we spent with Gwen (Sam's daughter), Wade, and their rapidly growing family: Wesley and Meredith, William...

As usual, Ralph and I always find a different path. We were searching on the internet for a larger RV and we found a great deal on a rig located in Seguin, Texas. So, guess what my friends, we are headed south towards San Antonio to take a look at this motor home. It's only a couple of days out of our way, so what the heck, nothing ventured, nothing gained. We left Oklahoma this morning and traveled south. I'm almost embarrassed to say this, but it was actually a relief to get into Texas; Arkansas and Oklahoma were very depressing (please,...
