We headed to Crystal City, TX and all three of our GPS' had different routes. Mind you Anderson's and us have exactly the same GPS. We followed leader Ken that day on Hwy 277 to FM 191 to Hwy 83 to FM 65 and he got us to RRR-RV Park just out of Crystal City. This is a great RV Park. It is long and narrow with lots of grass (and speed bumps) and trees. There is a small pond where you can fish and keep. Beautiful club room! Mar 3, 2008 - Crystal City, TX

March 3, 2008 We are once again glad to be leaving a park and excited to be on the road. I have been watching the weather and hope to pick up a tailwind as we head up the valley and turn north. Well - that just did not happen. By the time we reached Laredo I was exhausted fighting the wind. We stopped at a beautiful rest area north of Laredo for a much needed rest break. The rest of our trip along Rt. -- to Crystal City was very pleasant. Very scenic, no traffic and easy going. We are surprised to come upon a lone US Border Patrol Agent...

Mar 16, 2006 - Crystal City, Texas

In Brackette, Texas we find Alamo Village. Okay, it is not the real Alamo. It is the movie set for the movie starring John Wayne. It is a fun stop. At one point I lose John. Someone tells him that they saw a rattlesnake! We stop is Crystal for pictures with Popeye. They advertise that they are the spinach capital of the world. Our Crystal City campground has a petting zoo with ZeDonks. The animals are a cross between zebras and donkeys.
