Tuesday, May 8 Abilene Lake State Park, Buffalo Gap, TX We found this state park quite pleasant. The sites are separated with lots of oak and pecan trees. There is a very large swimming pool that is open after Memorial Day, lots of interior roads to ride bikes, and trails among the nature. There are also geocaches in the park. We rode our bikes and walked both days before the rain came yesterday. This is the first significant rain we have seen since leaving Tucson.
