It’s a cold, wet, drab day in Tennessee. Beginning to feel a whole lot like winter. The day started in heavy fog. In an effort to wait for better visibility, we took our slow, sweet time getting ready to leave. After all, we only had about 60 miles to go. We’re spending the night in Shelbyville with Uncle Wally. Shelbyville (in a true TN drawl that’s pronounced Shel-ba-vul) is the county seat of Bedford county. Being the county seat, there is the traditional southern “square” downtown with the county court house occupying the place of honor...
