May 18, 2012 - Civil War Day
#37 5/18/2012 Today was a travel day, but a good travel day. It was Civil War day. First we stopped at Fort Donelson and checked out the visitors center and the area. Very interesting battle was fought here. The South was trying to defend the two rivers here to try and keep the Union army out. They were almost successful. We then passed through Paris, but I have my doubts about that because I never saw the Eiffel Tower! Anyway We headed to Parker's Crossroads and parked the rig.
