Jul 7, 2011 - Ah, Power at Last... but no Nashville yet
So, on our way out of Franklin, we decided that the heat was too much and we decided to seek refuge at the local campgrounds. One was full but we found space at Poole campground with 50 amp service and water and a lake. So we parked, turned on the air and took a long shower and then crashed. From Poole's Knob COE Campground, on Percy Priest Lake, in LaVergne, TN, a few miles SE of Nashville. Shhhhhhh.......what is that??????........awwww, silence, no more little boy chatter. Yes, with a few tugs at our hearts, we bid farewell temporarily to Micah this afternoon. His mood during the day went from (a) telling us (unsolicited) this morning that he wished that we could stay longer at the Kentucky Horse Park to (b) can't wait to get home as we got in close to Franklin. He did so great; I was so proud of him. This was the first...
