Aug 28, 2010 - Wedding Day

First picture is what a good day camping should be, laying in the recliner looking at the sky and trees, and maybe counting the clouds. Wedding was great with lots of fun and dancing down the aisles. Reception got a little warm in the tent at the Ramsey house but food was good and had a good time. Moving North tomotrrow.

2010 Black Hills Yellowstone

Aug 27, 2010 - Johnson City, TN, Tiffany's Wedding

Day 1 started about 1:30 pm from Oak Ridge with a goal of having a Pal's hot dog by 5. Came up the road pretty good, with a bunch of tractor trailers, with only one pit stop. Got to Bluff City and couldn't figure out where all the race campers were....very empty campgrounds. Had reservations at Lakeside RV, between the track and Piney Flats. Finally got our Pal's fix and am completely satisfied. Here's Mom doing her thing with the lake in the distance.

2010 Black Hills Yellowstone

Nov 2, 2006 - Blountville, TN

Since we have to cut our trip short, I plotted a course through Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana on into Texas. We plan on spending only one night in each spot until we get to Huntsville, TX. This will be the fastest we've traveled so far and unfortunately we won't be spending much time or taking many pictures along the way. We aren't big country music fans or Elvis fans so we don't feel like we are missing much.

Sep 26, 2005 - Ryan and Steve begin drive back to Newport

Ryan had been in New York state, near Buffalo, for two years, and had recently decided to return to Oregon. Before Melinda and I had flown to Tennessee, he had asked about the possibility of me driving back to Oregon with him, so I agreed. Ryan drove down to Tennessee from Buffalo to get me. This was after Melinda had already flown back, so she didn't get to see him. Anyway, Ryan spent one night in Hampton, and he, Charlie and I got into a couple good cribbage games.
