We’re back in Joelton to what seems like has become our “home” park. This was the day KOA decided to go back to their regular rates, so we got out of Dodge. This campground is very lean on the nice factor. There are a lot of “permanent” residents here with the typical run down trailers with piles of junk around. It is also located right against I-24 so there’s lots of road noise. When we are here for a month, they always put us in the back amongst all those trailers and the noise. Scratchin' the Itch

Nov 9, 2009 - Back In Joelton

We pulled into the site we vacated last week in the campground in Joelton about mid-afternoon following an uneventful drive from Walland. We were all anxious to get out of the truck and get our little home set up once again. This is going to be another busy week. Tomorrow is Gene’s annual physical which will probably take the best part of the morning. I get to do laundry. I think I’d rather have the physical. Wednesday we both have dental appointments. Scratchin' the Itch

Sep 29, 2009 - Home Again

We arrived in Nashville, the city we consider “home”, about noon Monday. We are parked, at least for this week, at a small campground just off I-24 in the community of Joelton located at the northeastern edge of Metro Nashville. This campground is certainly nothing special in appearance, however, it has two major drawing points for us. First and foremost, it is very convenient to Ansley and Jack.
