From Cumberland Mountain State Park, near Crossville, Tennessee, between Knoxville & Nashville. Fall Creek Falls State Park has always had the reputation of being one of the nicest parks amongst the Tennessee park system. We have visited there a few times during our life & on one occasion +25 years ago we camped there in a pop-up camper. It sits about 35 miles from here & as we contemplated directions in which to go to see the countryside, we decided to make that our destination. We're Wingin' It

Apr 22, 2006 - Fall Creek Falls State Park, Tennessee

This was our first trip of 2006, and Megan was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was raining, but it was forecast to be over early Saturday morning, so we were able to go. We left home around 10, and we were at the Fall Creek Falls campground around noon. After sitting up, we decided to explore the campground. We started down the road toward what we thought was Fall Creek Falls. Donnie had forgotten Kylie's cap-which we realized about a 1/2 mile down the road, so he had to go back to get it.
