Wednesday, October 8, 2008 We had a shopping day and we visited Fort Kearney, Great Platte River Road Archway, and the Kool-Aid Museum in the Hastings Museum while we were staying in Doniphan, Nebraska. We followed US 81 north all of the way to Camp America in Salem, South Dakota. ... Four miles before Salem we went over I-90. ... We felt so close, yet so far away, from Washington State!
