. Coming back to Minnesota 'way too early from the warm South, Hazel and I have been wandering around, staying at the Indian casino in Hinckley, and taking in a couple of Walmarts. Hearing a rumor that it was already Summer in South Dakota, we headed West. . Hazel was on her way to Fargo, North Dakota to visit our son Jim, and I met up with her at the Walmart in St. Cloud, Minnesota for one night. May 27, 2014 - Flandreau, SD - Flandreau City Park Campground

Spent a couple of nights here in Flandreau. Their city park has an excellent campground located on the Big Sioux River. As is the case in a lot of these small towns, the park is home for their baseball diamonds. There are four in this campground, all perfectly manicured with lots of grass in the outfield. Looked like the local little league team was playing a game on one of the diamonds last night. I read a sign in the park that lists all of their baseball championships.
