Sep 11, 2019 - Prosperity SC, Dreher Island State Park

On the morning of the 11th, we departed Hiawassee GA and made our way to Dreher Island State Park on the shores of Lake Murray just outside Columbia SC. May 26, 2012 - Lake Murray, Prosperity SC

We drove to Nick & Carla's home on Lake Murray, a lake owned by South Carolina Gas & Electric, they have a beautiful home on one of the many coves lining the 600 miles of shore line. We rode their pontoon boat to a restaurant where we had a wonder lunch and saw duck and turtles swimming around the restaurant. We cruised by the homes dotting the shoreline, some small and some very large, we saw many Osprey nests, we (Nick and Mike) went swimming off their dock. It was a wonderfully relaxing day on the water.
