Here we are at the main reason we planned this odyssey in the first place. Manjit's sisters in-laws graciously invited us over to their vacation home in Kiawah beach SC for a few days during fourth of July weekend. As you all may know, Manjit does not like to fly, so we had to drive. They had invited us over last year as well, but I couldn't see myself taking 2-3 weeks of vacation to spend most of it driving back and forth across the country. Between Miami and Kiawah, we did stay in Melbourne Florida which is near the Kennedy space center....

Apr 23, 2007 - The Citadel

Our last night from Lake Aire RV Park, Hollywood, SC, near Charleston. Traveling tomorrow. If you saw yesterday's entry before I was able to post the photos, I encourage you to take a few moments to go back & look at them. As the past few days have progressed, we have checked-off each of the things that we wanted to do except two. Today, our last day here, was the day that we would drive down the road a bit to see Kiawah Island & then return to the downtown Charleston to see the campus of The Citadel.
