Jan 5, 2012 - Gator Land - Goose Creek
Yesterday was a very long day. It ended at 12.30am this morning! It started with a little bit of a lazy morning - we didn't have to leave until 10am. And this was an easy little trip around to the headland to visit the light house and Barbour of the headlands. A lovely ot looking out to the Atlantic ocean! The lighthouse is famous for its view of the 18th hole of the local PGA classic plays he in the summer and used by TV producers to get shots of the green when in play. Sep 10, 2011 - Pre Flight
Pre flight So we are at the airport waiting to board and we have a few minutes before we are called for boarding. We are getting into the spirit (as best we can) and enjoying a Sam Adams Octoberfest beer. Ready for Germany! We have a short layover in Philadelphia before we head across the ocean. All told we will only be in the air for about 10 hours. Scott...Jump to full entry

In the true fashion of packing (at least for us) we have piles of stuff all over the house and a list of things to go in the suitcase...but nothing is actually packed yet. Ahh! The weather in Germany is a tad bit cooler than it is here in Charleston, more like it is in Columbus. Highs in the mid 60s and lows of...Jump to full entry
Day #1: We spent a wonderful night visiting the Drake's (Wendy's Cousin) in Goose Creek (near Charleston) SC. The night (and I suspect the rest of the weekend) revolved around the kids... Azlyn 1.5, Jack 3 and Zachary almost 6 years old. Day #2..A busy day. Started with 1000 soccer game with Zachary scoring the only goal in the game in the 2nd overtime! Jack's favorite cheer "Go Zachary! Don't be late to the ball"....where did he get that from?? Next stop was the boys (Geoffrey, Bryan, Zach and Jack) attending a birthday party at Chuckie...Jump to full entry
