Apr 6, 2010 - Trip through the Low Country

I left Florida for Fripp Island, South Carolina to visit my cousin and her husband (Nancy & Hutch). Instead of staying on I95, I left it in Georgia around Savannah and followed US17 through coastal South Carolina. The pace is a little slower and the scenery is better. Since I couldn't take Winnie onto Fripp, I found a nice campground in Frogmore, Tuck in the Woods. There were a couple of interesting sites near Frogmore, a old Church mad out of ouyter shells and cement and a black school called Penn School that was opened in 1862. When I...
