I don't think we will be doing anything exciting today, probably a little cleaning up and hanging out, so here is a little info about two other "characters" in our circle of friends. Pitter Patter is a world class runner. Early in the year she ran a 5K in SC as a warm up for the Boston Marathon. She stunned the crowd by coming out of nowhere to almost win her age group (over 25...or something). Last month, in Boston, she crossed the finish line in record time (for her), then fell into Armee's arms. What's next? Who knows...could be...

Apr 23, 2012 - Greenwood Lake RV Resort

We arrived at the RV resort in Cross Hill before 1:00....a little different from the Wally World "Resorts".......we are BY FAR the least expensive coach in the place...but they gave us the pick of sites and we are all set up and enjoying the view. The local town is made up of about five buildings...one a hardware store we stopped in for directions, and one a "diner" we stopped in for a high calorie download.."Want some more sugar with your sweet tea honey?....Ice cream on that pie?". Tomorrow is breakfast in a place owned by a Mennonite...

Oct 18, 2011 - Lake Greenwood

We left Alexandria on Monday morning and headed south at, for us, a fast pace. We spent Monday night in Natural Bridge, VA at a Passport America campground. On Tuesday we moved on to our destination, the Lake Greenwood Motorcoach Resort. The owners were offering a free week of camping and we jumped on it! The Lake Greenwood Motorcoach Resort is the most attractive campground that we have seen in our seven and a half years on the road. Built on a hill with terraced campsites it sits on the shore of Lake Greenwood. There is a very nice lodge...
