I had planned to drive Phae through Rhode Island when we leave here, but decided instead to take Mr. Jeep on a day trip there today & avoid the extra hundred miles or so on Phae. Saw the beach area of Westerly & Watch Hill, though Watch Hill does not seem to appear in any of the data bases, including MTJ.

Southern most point of Rhode Island.. miles of white sand beaches.. A little too cool to take advantage of this summer activity.. Sorry Dan..Still too cool for shorts!! Sep 9, 2007 - Back in Rhode Island

After what seems like a really long and hot week we arrived home on Sunday night. Andy with the RV and kettle korn trailer and I drove the Jeep home with one light out...no fun over country roads. It was a fairly good week, we've had better and we've had worse. We're glad it's over that makes up one step closer to being done with kettle korn season and can start our vacation.
