Jun 23, 2017 - Florida to PA

After visiting family in Tennessee and friends in Roanoke, our first stop was in Wilkes-Barre PA on Wednesday May 24th at the Wal-Mart where we spent the night and met up with our friend Annette (and Mimi the dog) who were joining us on our RV adventure to the Eastern Canadian Provinces. It's with mixed feelings that we head out on our next adventure. After a year and a half off the road the opportunity to complete the journey we started back in 2007 has arrived. We downsized the RV and the truck this past fall and with the blessings of our kids and grandkids (by way of their parents) we're headed back to AZ for the winter and from there we'll head into British Columbia and finally Alaska!!! Alaska is the only state we have not visited and this trip is a dream come true!!! Bucket list here we come!!!

Jun 28, 2009 - VA to PA (Morin Family Reunion)

Left American Heritage this morning around 9 am for our northbound trek up to Turners Falls, Massachusetts for the Morin family reunion (Mike's mom's side of the family). Plan is to drive up 1-95 north to 495/270 around DC and then pick up I-81 and head up into Pennsylvania til we get tired and hope to Wally World it for the nite. Day is turning out to be a nice driving day and the route we have chosen was a better option than the I-95 route, smooth roads, no backups and ok weather. Stopped around 230 pm at the Flying J on Exit 52b of I-81...
