Bucket Trip #2

Jun 18, 2016 - Warren, PA

Sat, 18 Jun: Another road day... We had a mostly restful Wally nite at the Mansfield PA store. Once we stuffed our ear plugs in our ears we got to sleep and stayed asleep. Does anyone ever visit Wally with a working muffler on their vehicle or is there a law against doing so? We awoke to a chilly coach. The overnite low was in the fifties so we even ran the gas furnace in the bedroom for a bit to take the chill off. Once vertical and moving under our own power we rustled up breakfast and got the coach ready for the road. Since the car was...

Sep 25, 2009 - Warren, Pa.

Today we drove from Moundsville, to Wheeling, West Virginia, into Pennsylvania, past Pittsburg and up into Northeastern Pennsylvania, to Warren. We were on the outskirts of Pittsburg, and although it was not a bad drive, or even an ugly drive like I expected, when we got past the city the scenery became beautiful again. The Pennsylvania countryside is so pretty. Woods, and rolling hills, and old farm houses and red barns. Looks like a great place to live. We camped out in the Wal-Mart parking lot again, waiting until dark to put out our...
