On the morning of the 22nd, we headed north up I-81 to our next destination in Harpursville NY. Temps were cooler and intermittently there was some rain. Traffic wasn’t too bad, and there was the usual road construction and bumpy sections of roadway. We continued cautiously, but as we neared Lenox PA, the engine temp spiked suddenly and as we pulled to the side the engine warning light started to flash. Sep 15, 2007 - Weekend on our Own

One of our favorite things to do while we travel is find local places to eat, the shop and to poke around in. We decided that we had not really been for a hearty breakfast since we left Portland, and today (another overcast day) seemed the perfect day. Clark's Summit is a nice little town wedged in the mountains, and today being Saturday, the locals are out shopping, going to fall games with the kids and just enjoying.
