Feb 27, 2010 - A GPS Adventure

Last night, I thought I'd be able to reach Somerset, PA, but I got started too late and didn't make it. I searched the GPS for a Wal-Mart on my route and found one near Shippensburg, PA. As I get close to my destination, it got dark and the wind was causing the snow on the fields to drift across the road making them a little slick. This is the first time I've driven Winnie on snowy roads and I was white knuckled. When i get to the destination, it turns out to be the entrance to a landfill in the middle of farm country. Nov 24, 2009 - Keystone RV Campground

We left Fort Chiswell at 11 am and headed north on Rt 81. We had no plans on where we were going to stay overnight before arriving home. We did not have much choice as we traveled along. Most the campgrounds were off the beaten path. We decided to keep going till we reached the Pa-Md state line. We found a Passport America Campground at a RV dealership. Nothing fancy but it had Electric hookups. After 267 miles we were ready to pull over for the night. It rained all night but we did not care. From here it is a 120 mile drive home.
