After enjoying 200 miles of breathtaking scenery along the Blue Ridge Parkway we stopped for 3 nights at the cutest KOA in Fancy Gap, Virginia. Fancy Gap is a community of approximately 250 people and it is set in the woods just off the Parkway amongst the Appalachian Mountains. Our site, as you can see from the photos, was extremely bucolic and we had a deck that overlooked the rest of the campground replete with a picnic table and fire ring, which we made good use of during our stay.
