6/21/19 We're finally at campground that has decent WiFi capability that will allow me to upload pictures in a reasonable amount of time. I'm am amazed that the northern tier of Pennsylvania is so tech challenged, especially when it comes to cell phone coverage by AT&T. I need to get in touch with AT&T to see if I can get credit for the month of June when I didn't have use of the service for 75% of the month. Enough complaining. I'll try to catch up day by day. 2019 Family Meetup

Jun 14, 2019 - Happy Birthday

Today is the “birthday” of the United States Army. It was adopted as the American Continental Army by the Continental Congress on this date in 1775. It’s also the date on which the Second Continental Congress adopted the American flag, 13 red and white stripes and a field of blue with stars representing the states, in 1777. Unfortunately we can’t fly the flag today because it’s too windy. I usually drape it from our awning, but if I put the awning out it’s likely to blow off. 2019 Family Meetup

Jun 13, 2019 - God's Country

We moved to God's Country, Potter County, on Monday. Potter County is the 5th least populated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We're staying at the Allegheny River Campground on US 6. It's a nice mom and pop place right on the Allegheny River about 5 miles west of Coudersport, the county seat. The reason for staying here was to visit Cherry Springs State Park, a certified Dark Sky Park, to try to get some night sky pictures.
