Teemu and Panu: English: We visited Deluxe homes corporation on our vocational day. It was interesting to see how they built modular homes. We spent a couple of hours going through the production line. After the lunch we had a change to get into the design process. Panu was interested in the code that they use here in the U.S. It was interesting to notice that they have the same problems here than in the software engineering. GSE Finland 2005

Apr 25, 2005 - Tutustumassa sairaalaan ja ydinvoimalaan / Visiting hospital and a nuclear plant

(Alla suomeksi) We started our day at 8:30 at the Burger King by enjoying ham and cheese bagels. We headed towards Berwick County hospital. We had a chance to visit most of the departments in the hospital. We where surprised how homelike atmosphere it was in the hospital. We the personnel of the hospital we had a vivid discussion about the differences between the Finnish health care system and the system here in Pennsylvania.
