We got up around 8:30 and made it back to Clinton just before noon. Shortly after we got there we ate some lunch and of course dessert, then it was back to more reminiscing and swapping of stories. We left there about 7:30 and hit the ShopRite for groceries – a better choice than the WalMart next door - then it was back on the road for the twisty-turny ride through the New Jersey and Pennsylvania countryside – in the rain again – to the campsite. Only one wrong turn this time – shouldn’t Hwy 519 South actually go south? Just a thought....

Sep 30, 2011 - Revere PA

Today was a day to visit family in Clinton NJ which is about 45 minutes west of Newark Airport, but it looks very much like parts of North Carolina. Not so much like Newark – luckily. We left the bus about 11:00 and, despite a wrong turn, we got into Clinton only a half hour later than planned. We went to eat lunch at The Griddle and then it was back to the house for a gab-fest. Sep 29, 2011 - Revere PA

Well I told you things could change. We decided against going to Boston and instead headed eastish towards Clinton NJ to visit some of MB’s family before we head back SW toward Gettysburg PA in a day or two. Today's trip was mostly uneventful again, except for the way-off-the-beaten-path journey that the mapping software took us on from near Nazareth PA to the campground here in Revere.
