The night before we left Tionesta, we drove about 12 miles out into the country to the Flying W Ranch for dinner. There was a regional rodeo starting the next day, so there were quite a few cowboys and cowgirls walking around. We ordered a "Hot Rock" steak which was delivered to our table sizzling on a volcanic rock. Pretty cool presentation and an awesome steak. 2017 Life in our RV

Aug 29, 2008 - Pymatuning State Park

On to Pymatuning State Park on a peninsula and the largest man made lake in Pennsylvania. Linesville boast the ducks walk on fish. We saw fish jumping out of the water, they must have been big ones with the splashes that they made. A day trip to Titusville and catching up with our mail, the first batch went to Idaho, instead of Indiana. Titusville is the home of the first Oil Well drilled in the USA. We enjoyed the Drake museum and the replicated buildings and drilling equiptment. One 4 cycle, 2 HP gas engine was pumping the oil out. Rods...

Jul 8, 2006 - Lake Pymatuning

We came south along Lake Erie, back through PA to meet our friends George & Denise Ord from the PA Elks lodge. We met them at the RV park near Lake Pymatuning which is on the border of Ohio and PA (state border goes right through the lake). After setting up our RVs they took us for a drive around the lake and the town. On the Ohio side of the lake was several Amish homes & farms. They have tables filled with baked goods sitting in the front yard for sale, but by the time we drove by, the baked goods were gone. We'll have to go back later in...
