Fri, 17 Jun: Heading west... After ten days visiting Sandi's family in northwest New Jersey we're back on the road. We absolutely love visiting family, but do wish they lived somewhere, say, less intense. The pace of New Jersey (well, to be honest, the entire northeast) is a bit too much for us. We had a "last supper' with Sandi's siblings and returned to the coach about half past eight. We kicked back for a bit and took some long, hot showers enjoying full hookups for a while. Day 176 Sunday 5th October Mansfield PA pg 88 EE3 Taking advantage of the full internet service we downloaded the photos for the journal, consequently we didn’t depart the campsite until 10.00am (the latest we have ever departed). Today we managed to get a few miles under our belt and headed for Pennsylvania; however in hindsight we needn’t have made such a rush. Yesterday we moved from north of Pittsburgh to Mansfield, PA lying southeast of Pittsburgh. We came to Mansfield for the opportunity to visit with Nancy and Dick Smeltz. Nancy and Dick live in nearby Perryopolis. Nancy was a college mate of Sue's at Villa Maria College in Erie. We have visited the Smeltzs on both of our previous trips through the Pittsburgh area and always enjoy getting together with them.
