Aug 4, 2011 - Madison and Nancy

Yesterday we drove further north through the hills of West Virginia and into Pennsylvania. We are now at the Madison-Pittsburgh KOA where we have been several times before. Last night we drove to Perryopolis for dinner and a visit with Nancy Schmeltz. We had a nice dinner at Grill 51 and then stopped for ice cream at Kimmee's. Tomorrow it is on to Lewis Run!

Andrew Carnegie gives us two great museums for the price of one - Friday, July 17 No name is more intimately tied to the city of Pittsburgh than that of Andrew Carnegie. 2009 Spring 2 Fall

Oct 20, 2008 - BEAUTIFUL DRIVE

Writing from Madison/Pittsburgh, PA KOA. Today was another day of driving. We both commented that today was the most beautiful drive so far on our trip. The mountains and fall colors in northwestern Virginia and across Pennsylvania were beautiful. It was a cool fall day with blue sky and sunshine. We arrived at the KOA around 3:00. We got hooked up and headed up north to Dick & Bonnie’s. They weren’t answering their pone at home nor was Dick answering his cell. We waited on their back porch for 45 minutes or so.
