Oct 20, wouldn’t you know it, a chance to sleep in and RG is up at 5:00, walking across our heads, under the covers, out of the covers, in the window, back across our heads. We did not have to leave until at least 8:30 but with his help we were packed, loaded, fed and ready to go at 8:15. We headed 5 miles back up the road to the Johnstown Flood Memorial. Oct 19, 2011 - Allegheny Portage Railroad

Driving through Pennsylvania has been colorful but rainy. Unfortunately when we got to Steamtown the camera decided not to work. Don’t know if it is the batteries or something wrong with the camera. Have charged both sets of batteries and tried them both to no avail. Next it to get some new batteries and if that does not work I guess we will look for a new camera. We find a Best Buy just before Allegheny Portage Railroad and run in to get new batteries, no good, end up buying a new camera instead, a Nikon, 21X zoom. It is easy to use and...
