May 10, 2010 - We're off on a new adventure again

After only a few weeks home since arriving from Florida we are off once again, this time to Alaska. We are in our 1999 Fleetwood Discovery motor home with our trusty 2002 Saturn as our toad (i.e. our tow car. We will first visit with Dick's sister MaryAnne Lambert at their home in Carole Stream, IL. Her husband Bob has been recently diagnosed with cancer and we want to stop and see if we can assist in any way.

Jul 6, 2008 - Fleetwood PowWow

The 4th and 5th were rainy but the 6th was warm and sunny so we went to a PowWow not far from where we were camped. The dancing was fun, the regalia was beautiful, the vendors had lots of interesting things and there was fry bread . . . one of my favorites although it was not as good as our friends Bear and ScreachingOwl make.

Dragon Tales

Aug 20, 2007 - We're on the road again, Westward Ho!

Today,after a slow start, we left on our journey to Dick's Navy reunion in Vavcouver, WA. We will spend from now until October 1st traveling across the northern US, visiting with relatives and friends along the way as well as sight seeing our way west. We spent the day driving the interstates toward Chicago and our first stop at Dick's sister Maryanne and her husband Bob to see their new home in Carol Stream, IL.
