We woke to a cool beautiful morning. We headed towards the Bushkill Falls, the Niagara Falls of Pennsylvania. We hiked and viewed several amazing waterfalls. The trails were built on the side of mountains. Lots of ups and downs, but it was cool and beautiful. Next, we went on a tour on a Water Gap Trolley. It took us to many of the local highlights. Jul 5, 2012 - So it begins!
After a relaxing morning visiting with Lisa's sister, we packed up and pulled off her lawn at about 1:30. We headed west on route I-84 through New York, not the city, phew! We skimmed the tip of New Jersey into the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We encountered our first detour and George found himself driving through small towns and on back, curvy, hilly roads, but the detour was well marked and he did great!!!
