Today was the big day. Jay and Peggy left yesterday for Chambersburg, PA to get everything ready. We were left in charge of the kiffels and getting them to the reception in one piece. Personally, I was wanting to open them on the way to the wedding. They are soooo yummy. Peggy rented a large coach to take people from Nazareth to Chambersburg for the wedding since some of them would not have come because of having to drive at night. It was a nice ride. Sep 21, 2009 - Lincoln Highway Conference 2009

For my first trip to the LHA annual conference I decided to follow the Lincoln Highway as much as possible on my way to South Bend Indiana. My plan was to spend two days on the Lincoln in order to be in South Bend for Monday and the pre-conference drive of Lincoln sites that was planned for the South Bend area. Day 1 Since I had been on the Lincoln many times through eastern PA before and in order to save some needed time my trip started in Chambersburg PA where the Lincoln meets I-81.
