We arranged for Allstate and FEMA to come this weekend so it gave Dad and me a chance to get away. We drove to PA to visit with Lutz, my step.brother in law. We went out to dinner and took a ride to Big Pocono State Park and Camelback Mtn. We could see forever it seemed. Herta got along well with us away. Heading back to NY soon.doing the blog on my phone which is always fun. Enjoy the pics.

Oct 4, 2012 - Old friends
We left our rainy overnight lodging and headed into Pennsylvania. The trees are at near peak colors and were stunning. We had wished for a sunny day to make them even better but alas it rained all day. Our first stop was for lunch in Hawley PA at the Boatyard Restaurant on a picturesque lake. Jun 13, 2011 - Drying out and other stuff
With the transfer of Dad and Shirley complete we both took the day to clean, wash and organize. What a job. Everything was either wet or really dirty. After the day was done we settled in for an early bedtime. We are relaxing (?) at Lutz' house again today (Monday). We are little by little getting the big honkin' dually and camper back in shape. We are off again tomorrow to begin month # 4 with a surprise location. We are going to Cape Cod. Jun 12, 2011 - Raininy travel
We left Saratoga Lake wet. Forgot to bring the chairs in and it poured. Couple that with wet towels from showers and other assorted wet things and we are in need of a washer and dryer. We travelled down to the Delaware Water Gap and spent the night in a private campground on Federal land. Dad got to use HIS golden age pass for half price camping. May 31, 2011 - The camper is fixed!!
After driving to my brother in law's home in Bushkill PA, we worked on the problem with our jacks which lift the camper off the truck. The batteries were out of water. Added water, charged the batteries and FIXED. More from Long Island on Tuesday. Along with pics.
