After we all got back to the hotel last night, we had some unsettling events occur that led us all to the conclusion we needed to move to another location. Fortunately, for us, our location was right near the Wildlife Safari Park at Seven Feathers Casino and they could accommodate our request to stay one evening! Today was a beautiful day to go to the Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon. It was sunny and warm. The Wildlife Safari was opened to the public in 1973. It was Frank Hart's vision to create a facility in the Pacific Northwest that would help save rare and endangered species from around the world. The 600-acre wildlife park houses over 500 wild animals. Oct 19, 2007 - We're in Roseburg area

We arrived in the Roseburg, Oregon area yesterday afternoon. We had a beautiful drive down...only a little rain. The rains held off until Bob went out to set up the satellite system!!!! We're staying at the Rising River RV Park -- this park is within a mile of Winston, Oregon....for those that know Winston - it's on Hwy 42, just before the green bridge as you head to Winston from the north.
