We enjoyed our outing so much in the Silverton area and while there happened to read there are many covered bridges nearby and decided to resume exploring the area; that brought us to the land of Covered Bridges. We knew Oregon has more covered bridges than any other state in the west, but didn’t realize we were so close to them. Part of Willamette County’s history is the area’s charming covered bridges.
