May 14, 2011 - On the Oregon Trail

I just couldn't write about our time in the LA area. Since I couldn't say anything nice I decided not to say anything. After Canyonville OR where the RV park is part of Seven Feathers Casino we headed to Tualatin which is a suburb of Portland. The park was tucked into an area surrounded by apartments, shopping and a greenbelt walkway. Oregon is so green, but of course that comes with the price of lots of rain. Jul 10, 2007 - The Big Surprise!!!

We got to the house and Kaye pulled in right behind us. She was on her way to town, but we made her come to the MH and see the inside before she left. She opened the bedroom door where CW and Becki were hiding and she let out a scream. She was surprised. She had no idea. Kaye called Jerry right away. He was on his way to town to buy paint. She convinced him to come home right away to see our new MH, so he showed up minutes later. He too was shocked to find CW, Becki, and Kennedy in the bedroom waiting to surprise him. Savana's Summer 2007

Jun 27, 2007 - In Sandy but no beach

Got the tires installed in Salem and after a short drive we arrived at the Bookers roost in Sandy, OR. They have a beautiful home on a hilltop just east of Sandy. The views (Mt Hood, Columbia basin, Sandy River area) from their back porch are to die for. We got the motorhome all situated for 4 days of relaxing and visiting with Mike and Rosie plus 4 kittys. This is the fresh fruit time of year and our opportunity to enjoy Mike's famous home style gourmet cooking. Some days with rain and a few were sunny and warm. Very typical for Oregon...
