Under the heading of "Who knew?" - did you know that 50 miles Oregon coast is Sand Dunes Recreation Area? You would not believe the size and scope of these dunes. Some of them are over 50 feet high! We left Bandon about 9:30 this morning and decided to take it slow and easy. So we stopped at several areas that had viewpoints and enjoyed the scenery. I even got to see a lighthouse! At Reedsport we left 101 (finally) and headed over to I-5 (not my favorite way to travel but we wanted a super Wally and there's one in Salem which is also on...
