Saturday, September 15 - we jumped into the car and drove south to Mount Angel for their annual Oktoberfest. This is billed as the biggest "national origin festival in Oregon," and we believe it. The Budweiser Clydesdales were there, along with at least 60 food vendors (we participated in just a few!), a great arts and crafts area and one helluva lot of fun and entertainment. The Clydesdales were housed in stalls under a tent, right next to the handicapped / media parking area, between their several shows each day. What beautiful horses!!!...
