September 12: Today was laundry day. So we did laundry and just rested for the remainder of the day. September 13: Today we went to the Farmers market in downtown Newberg. We bought fresh corn, peas, radishes and peaches all grown locally. The hazelnut is another big cash crop in this area. Gail, being an Oregonian, directed our search for an outlet that carried the nuts. September 9: Continuing on with our wine tasting in the beautiful Willamette Valley, we first visited De Ponte Cellars which was a great tasting experience. It also has it's own wine tasting area where Evergreen Pinot Noir wine can be tasted (for free) and purchased. Since we had already visited the museum, we attended one of the IMAX shows. We saw...

We are off today to Lafayette which is about 54 miles inland so a nice short journey. We will set up and then head over to the Aviation Museum this afternoon to see the Spruce Goose and many other aircraft. As you can imagine, Steve is slightly more excited about this visit than I am but I am sure it will be interesting. Probably going to stay in Lafayette for a 2 nights although we booked for 3 so hopefully we can change it. More later if we have internet... Well, we didn't have internet and so I am doing this in Eatonville. We left...
