Jul 12, 2012 - Checking Out Minor League Baseball
Tonight we went to a minor league, single-A baseball game! Jerry loves these types of baseball games and when he discovered the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes were going to play against the Yakima Bears – well, he was all over it! And off we went! The stadium was only ten miles from where we stay and the game began at 6:35 p.m. We arrived in plenty of time and opted for the general admission tickets for $8 each. Jun 30, 2011 - Spruce Goose
First of all – I'm SORRY!!! I forgot the camera so no pictures. But I'll try to describe it so you can see it. Wednesday, we headed down Hwy 22 from Tillamook to Keizer. Dec 23, 2009 - Keizer, Oregon
We had a layover day in Keizer, Oregon today to wait for our friends Heather and Peter to arrive. We spent the morning doing a few errands; I did a load of laundry and we went to Camping World to replace a light fixture that was burnt out. We also stopped at Costco where I bought the new WII Fit (thanks Mom for my Christmas present) I’ll be using that a lot along the way to try and stay in shape since I won’t be able to get out and walk as often as I’d like while we are on the road. Our friends made the trip without any trouble and we have...

Dec 22, 2009 - On the Road Again
We are on the road again. We have had a lovely (albeit short) visit with family and friends in Port Townsend over the last month, and this past weekend we had mini Christmas celebrations with Holly, Blaise and Noah and then another with my sister Katie and another with my folks and both my sisters. (My sister Susan was up visiting from California for the weekend) We crammed a lot of celebrating into a few days, and after some sad farewells, we have taken to the road once again. This year we have a bit of a different itinerary. For starters,...
