Sunday was a big day with trip to the National Cowboy Museum and later a dinner at Cattlemen's Steakhouse. After the kids caught the cowboy fever we went to a section of Oklahoma City called "The Stockyards" which was packed as there was a horse show in town. ... We were camping in suburban Oklahoma City, near Edmond, where it was impossible to tell that we were actually in the heart of cowboy country. ... OMG Sunshine!!! We finally got out of the rain into blue skys and sun in Oklahoma City. ... We traveled 300 miles today and will over night at the Firelake grand casino free stay at the site but well you know we can't stay out of the casino.OMG Sunshine!!! RED MUCKY MUD!!@#$#%#! Welcome to rain and Oklahoma! I almost felt like I was back in New York State when I saw all the Oklahoma toll roads; however, this is the first time we’ve paid the full toll and received a refund when we got off before the end of the toll road.RED MUCKY MUD!!@#$#%#! Just wanted to let you know that Tommy, Maddie, and I returned home yesterday, getting to our house about 6:00. After being released Saturday afternoon, we spent the night at Bayfield and started back to Oklahoma City the next morning. ...
