We are in Dawson Creek ready to begin our trip up the Alcan (Alaska Highway.) It has been misty all day. The trip from Prince George was a beautiful drive. We arrived at Baniff National Park on Friday. We had not checked and found out that this weekend is Canada Days and a 3 day weekend! We came in early and got the last electric site at Tunnel CG. Russell Museum, Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. We have spent two nights at Walmart parking lots and remainder at state parks and city parks. We are...

Jun 18, 2012 - The first effort!!

Tinker, the granddog is coming to visit today! She is on the left in the photo. Laural and Tink are spending the week with us!. My sister, Jane, and I are heading to Alaska on Sun. or Mon., June 24th or 25th. We will be traveling in her Roadtrek and not our Casita but I used a heading that could be used for more than one journey. I will probably enter some not to interesting photos just to see if this blog is easier than FB. I am finding FB not so friendly to uploading photos.
